Columbia Cycling is 40th in National Rankings... is that good?

The PDF of the collegiate 2006-07 rankings was published this week and Columbia got 40th. Well, I got 40th. The rankings are based upon national championship events. The only two that "Columbia" participated in were cyclocross and road racing. My bad ride at cyclocross nationals earned Columbia 2 points and my back-of-the-front-pack finish at road nationals got us 4 points. Well, maybe nexy year we'll get Bremer and some others into some finishing spots at national events, or maybe I will try to do a mountain bike race. I might have to be enrolled at Columbia, though. ugh.
